Lesley has loved animals and art since her childhood. By 1983 she was making enough money from her artwork to quit her day job. Lesley creates her art on location and with the supplementation of photography to capture a fresher look that also yields authority. She has received recognition three years in a row from the Pastel Society of the West Coast for her contribution to pastel as an artistic medium. Lesley also holds workshops in Sutter Creek, California.
